Herbert Ngaya is a Senior Engineer specialising in Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance. He graduated from EAMAC (Ecole Africaine de l’Aviation Civile et de la Météorologie) in Niger and holds a Master’s Degree in Satellite-Based CNS/ATM from ENAC in Toulouse. He spent two years as a visiting scientist at ICTP in Trieste, Italy, researching the impact of ionospheric conditions on SBAS performance in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is a member of the ANGA programme team and has been serving as a GNSS expert at Satnav-Africa JPO for the past eight years.
